Prides Crossing, MA 01965
For Educators of Students in grades 6-12

The face-to-face portion of the Institute will provide the foundation for implementing classroom strategies in the fall; the online portion of the Institute will focus
on developing a collegial community to discuss the successes, challenges and efficacy
of implementing the strategies in the classroom.
Upon completion participants will be able to:
* identify typical and atypical receptive and expressive language development
* identify appropriate accommodations, modifications, and remediation for weak language skills
* explain the language-based teaching approach and teaching strategies that develop language skills
