Seminars in the Parent & Community Program are open for three weeks, and a

Certificate of Attendance is available. These seminars are designed with the specific

needs of parents in mind. They provide information and strategies that can be used at home, as well as a venue for discussion of various topics related to parenting children

with learning disabilities.

Parent & Community Program
The LOOP Parent & Community Program offers internet-based workshops on topics of particular interest to parents of children with learning disabilities. These workshops focus on practical strategies that can be implemented outside the classroom to help children learn more effectively and successfully.

LOOP workshops are organized into three units each of which is designed to be

completed in approximately 1 1⁄2 hours. The workshops are fully interactive with ongoing opportunity to discuss topics and questions with the instructor and other participants

in the course via threaded discussion and live chat.

Credit & Tuition
Tuition for the LOOP Parent & Community Program is $100 per workshop.
