Katrina Schwartz, writing for Mind Shift, highlights the results of several studies done on how to teach effective study skills to students. The most useful and practical strategies were ones that spiraled back to previously learned concepts, as well as strategies that helped students to see the connections between topics. In addition, study time was most effective when teachers structured class time and homework to include review.
