Teacher Awareness in Working with Students with Behavioral Issues

This article offers up strategies and thoughtful questions for teachers who work with students with emotional and behavioral disorders.  Although it is targeted for teachers of students with these types of disorders, the strategies offered are relevant for teachers of all students.  More importantly, it prompts teachers to ask important questions of themselves: What is their reaction to students unexpected behavior and how do these reactions impact the classroom climate?  How can they work to reduce their own stress?
