Summer 2023 Course Options for Non-Public Massachusetts Schools

Build shared knowledge and gain practical instructional strategies to help students succeed.

Landmark Outreach is partnering with Non-Public Massachusetts Schools to offer educators courses during the Summer of 2023.

Highlights include

  • Landmark faculty instructors are experienced classroom educators who offer meaningful and effective professional development grounded in theory and practice
  • One track for elementary and lower middle school, and a second track for upper middle school and high school
  • A combination of entirely online and in-person courses
    • Online course modules can be completed on a self-paced basis within the course start and end dates
    • In-person courses will take place on the Landmark School campus in July. Exact dates are in the course descriptions
  • Award of PDPs/hours upon course completion. Exact PDPs/hours information are in the course descriptions
  • Courses are free to educators who work in Non-Public Massachusetts Schools

 

ELEMENTARY AND LOWER MIDDLE SCHOOL TRACKS
Recommended for K-6 educators. Grade 7 educators are welcome to join this track.

Online courses
Modules can be completed completely online on a self-paced basis within the course start and end dates
Educators should register themselves; there is no cost to the course at checkout

Understanding Students with Dyslexia
June 27 – August 8, 2023

Written Expression: Scaffolded Strategies for Beginning Writers, Elementary Track
July 25 – September 5, 2023

In-person courses**
In-person attendance is required on the Landmark School campus within the course start and end dates and times
Course assignments outside of the posted dates and times may be required by the instructor
**Seating is limited. Seats on a first-come, first-served basis

Math: Develop Cardinality and Number Sense with Whole-to-Part Icons of Quantity
July 17-18, 2023, 8:30 am – 3:00 pm Eastern
1 graduate credit

UPPER MIDDLE SCHOOL AND HIGH SCHOOL TRACKS
Recommended for 7-12 educators. Grade 6 educators are welcome to join this track.

— Click the create an account button if you have never taken a Landmark Outreach course before. Click login if you already have an account with us.

— Once you’re logged in, click the orange register button, then view your cart.

— Review your cart to ensure you have selected the correct course. If so, proceed to checkout.

— Fill out all of the required fields.

— Click place order, and you are registered!

— Check your email for confirmation.
