Between 5 and 15 percent of Americans have dyslexia. Our NEW course provides an overview and definition of dyslexia, dyscalculia, and dysgraphia to help educators better understand the learning challenges of students with these specific learning disabilities (SLD).

Course participants will:

  • Explore neurological research related to causes of dyslexia, dyscalculia, and dysgraphia
  • Learn best-practice instructional strategies to support students in the classroom with dyslexia, dyscalculia, and dysgraphia
  • Understand the learning challenges for individuals with these specific learning disabilities (SLD)
  • Earn 15 hours/PDPs
