Our team is made up of Landmark School faculty and staff members who understand the challenges of differentiating instruction in the general classroom and implementing intensive language-based instruction for students with learning disabilities.
OUTREACH FACULTY
Dan Ahearn is an educator and attorney. He has a B.A. from the University of Rochester, an M.A. in Education from Tufts University, and a J.D. from Suffolk University Law School. He is the Assistant Head of School, serves as in-house legal counsel, and is the former director of Outreach. At Landmark, he has also taught language arts and social studies and coached soccer and tennis. He has also taught high school social studies and coached track in the Rochester, New York public schools.
DIRECTOR of SUMMER INSTITUTE
Meg Arnio is a teacher at Landmark Elementary•Middle School in Manchester, Massachusetts. Meg has been teaching students with language-based learning disabilities at Landmark School since 2005 at both the middle school and elementary levels. She holds a bachelor’s degree in movement science from Gordon College and a master’s degree in special education from Simmons University.
Outreach Faculty
Kaia has been at Landmark since 2006. In addition to her work for Outreach, she has been a language arts teacher at Landmark High School. Previously, her roles and responsibilities included assistant director of the preparatory program, academic advisor, and full-time teacher and tutor. Kaia graduated from The College of Santa Fe with her bachelor’s in English, and she earned her master’s degree in special education from Simmons University.
Director of Cape Cod Program
Anna DiPerna is the assistant math department head at the Landmark Elementary•Middle School and a math class and one-on-one reading and writing teacher. Since starting with Landmark in 2002, she has taught math, language arts, and oral expression/literature classes. She earned her Bachelor of Arts from Rice University and her Master of Science in special education from Simmons College.
Director of Landmark Outreach Online
Molly has taught a variety of science courses and one-on-one language arts tutorials since she came to Landmark in 2011. Most recently, she has taken on a new role as a course developer and teacher for Landmark Outreach Online, providing educators with research-based content and practical strategy demonstrations to better support the students in their classrooms. In addition, she has also helped organize the professional development seminars at Landmark Outreach’s Summer Institute. Molly graduated from Bowdoin College in 2011 with a bachelor’s degree in environmental studies and sociology, and she earned her master’s degree in special education from Simmons University.
Outreach Faculty
Linda is a certified speech-language pathologist who has been practicing since 1988. Throughout her career, she has worked in clinical and public school settings evaluating and treating individuals with a variety of communication disorders. Linda joined Landmark High School as the expressive language program director in 1994, transitioning into a consultation role in this program in 2003. Linda has also been a Landmark Outreach Program faculty member since 1996, consulting to public schools, as well as teaching face-to-face and online graduate-level courses. Her expertise is in child and adolescent expressive language disorders with a particular focus on social communication skills.
Outreach Faculty
Adam is currently the Landmark School research coordinator and a Landmark Outreach consultant. Previously, Adam taught American literature in addition to his administrative role as an academic advisor. Adam is a graduate of the Harvard Graduate School of Education where he studied language and literacy development. While studying at Harvard, he taught at the Maria L. Baldwin School in Cambridge as a reading specialist and explored the influence of early intervention on struggling readers at the elementary level. He also holds a master’s degree in education from Simmons University. Adam is a licensed reading specialist and moderate special needs educator.
LANDMARK OUTREACH DIRECTOR
Prior to joining Landmark in 2013, Kate worked for national, education-focused nonprofits. She is the director of Outreach and serves as the grant writer. Kate also teaches a variety of classes at Landmark High School. She has taught language arts and study skills, and she currently teaches early literacy tutorials. Kate holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Richmond, a master’s of public administration from New York University, and a master’s degree in special education from Simmons University.
Landmark Outreach Associate Director
Keryn has taught at Landmark High School in the language arts and literature departments since 2003. As associate director, she manages content development and production, and she assists in overseeing all aspects of the program. For Outreach, Keryn has been a school consultant, produced materials for the DESE, and organized the Professional Development Seminars for Cape Cod Educators, in addition to coordinating and teaching courses for the Summer Institute, Landmark Outreach Online, and the Landmark SNHU partnership. Keryn holds a bachelor’s degree in English from Colby College and a master’s degree in special education from Simmons University.
Outreach Faculty
Ann has been working professionally in the field of language-based learning disabilities since 1977. Her responsibilities over the years at Landmark School have included: assistant director of admission, academic dean at Landmark High School, academic case manager at Landmark Elementary•Middle School, dean of women students, and language arts teacher and tutor. Ann currently consults with public, private, and charter schools across the country regarding evaluation, academic planning, and program design, development, and implementation for children with language-based learning disabilities. Ann is a graduate of Smith College, with former Massachusetts certification in elementary education and special needs administration.
Marketing Director
Lauren has taught a variety of study skills and writing courses since she came to Landmark High School in 2014. As marketing director, she coordinates marketing and communication efforts for all aspects of the program. Additionally, she teaches courses for Landmark Outreach Online and the Landmark SNHU partnership. She holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology from St. Lawrence University and a master’s degree in special education from Simmons University.

Caitlin works as a consultant and seminar instructor for Landmark Outreach. Previously, her roles and responsibilities at Landmark High School included working as the director of the expressive language program, an academic advisor, and a full-time teacher and tutor. She graduated from the University of Massachusetts with her bachelor’s in psychology and education, and she has her master’s degree in special education from Simmons University.

Kate has taken on a variety of roles since starting her career with Landmark in 2008. She currently works as an Outreach lead faculty member, guiding educators in developing best practices to support students with LBLD. Prior to this she served as Assistant Head of the Expressive Language Program at Landmark High School, designing, teaching and supervising writing, oral expression and social communication classes. Kate partnered with faculty from both campuses to coordinate professional development opportunities through Landmark’s Inreach Program from 2012-2020, and gained experience in her early years at the high school as the EL Program’s Lead Teacher, a full time teacher of Language Arts and Pragmatics/Social
Outreach Faculty
Kate currently works as an Outreach consultant where she partners with schools in different capacities to help support students with language-based learning disabilities. Previously, Kate taught algebra I, language-arts tutorials, and student advocates at Landmark High School. Kate was also a special educator at a public middle school and public charter high school where she taught small group math classes and managed a caseload of students. While working at the public charter high school, Kate was also a special education department head and then an assistant principal. Kate holds a BA from Colby College with a major in human development and minor in mathematics, and she earned her master’s degree in special education from Simmons University.
Operations Manager
Jamie has worked for non-profit educational institutions for more than 20 years. Roles she has had include admissions, recruitment, marketing, and student services, before moving to operations work about eight years ago. Her goals are to implement the systems needed to ensure a positive customer experience and support the mission of the organization. Jamie holds a bachelor’s degree in mass communication from Louisiana State University and a master’s degree in higher education from Salem State University.
Operations Coordinator
Jess has worked in education environments since 2018. She previously managed audition operations and events in the admissions office at Berklee College of Music. She has also worked on multiple farms in the Boston area with varying responsibilities, including leading outdoor education groups with children designed to encourage comfort in nature. In her role at Landmark, she conducts back-end operations and customer service. Jess holds a bachelor’s degree in Counseling Psychology from Emmanuel College.
Outreach Faculty
Chris has been with Landmark School since 1986. He is a graduate of Middlebury College and the Harvard Graduate School of Education, and he is currently the mathematics department head at the Landmark Elementary•Middle School. Chris has published several articles, including a recent one through the Yale Center for Dyslexia and Creativity. His latest book is entitled Multiplication and Division Facts for the Whole-to-Part Visual Learner. Chris presents internationally on topics involving multimodal math instruction and learning disabilities.
Outreach Faculty
Katie is an Outreach lead faculty member, after many rewarding years spent teaching students at Landmark High School. From 2015-2022, Katie was the Director of the Expressive Language Program, prioritizing supportive teacher training. She has taught 1:1 tutorials as well as classes in Language Arts, Oral Expression, and Social Communication. During her time at Landmark, she also worked closely with a caseload of students and their families as an Academic Advisor. Beyond the high school level, Katie has taught courses for the Summer Institute, Landmark Outreach Online, and Southern New Hampshire University’s College of Online and Continuing Education. Prior to joining Landmark in 2009, she graduated from Holy Cross with a bachelor’s degree in English. She then earned her master’s degree in special education from Simmons College.
