COURSE DESCRIPTION

One of the pillars of writing at Landmark is the writing process. We believe that breaking down essay writing into five manageable steps (brainstorm, organize, rough draft, proofread, final draft) helps to minimize the stress associated with writing essays, provides a series of checks and balances, and compartmentalizes the skills needed for each step. When putting together a writing unit, there are certain logistical and esthetic-related considerations to make that can promote buy-in, accessibility, and engagement – all in an effort to support students’ ability to effectively respond to an essay prompt. This webinar will support your efforts in designing each step of the writing process using the Google Suite and will share helpful tips and tricks for navigating the flow, cadence, and delivery of each step.
